* Full names are used (not nicknames or abbreviations), and dates, times and addresses are spelled out
* Each line of the wedding invitation is centered, for a balanced look
* Courtesy titles (Mr., Miss, Ms., Mrs.) are used. When appropriate, professional titles should be used. Doctor may be abbreviated as Dr. A priest or minister is called "The Reverend", and the judge is called the "Honorable". The Rabbi is called "Rabbi".
* Military titles are handle by rank. Enlisted people and noncommissioned offers may include their branch of service underneath their names. Titles for officers precede their name, and the branch of service appears on the line below.
