Deciding Your Wedding Month And Season

When choosing a wedding date, be sure to plan the month and season around where you would like your honeymoon, what flowers are in season, and what major events may be occurring within the same time frame. Here are some thought starters:


Spring (March to June)


Flowers in season (depending on region): cherry blossoms, hydrangeas, lilacs, lily of the valley, tulips, sweet peas


Holidays: Easter, Memorial Day, Mother’s Day


Sporting events: Baseball, hockey playoffs, and basketball playoffs


Possible honeymoon destinations: Europe, Bali, Egypt, Turkey, Morocco, South Africa


Summer (June to September)


Flowers in season (depending on region): roses, sunflowers, daisies, violets
