Wedding Poems: Love (31)

"Thinking the world of you"
Poem by Irvin Green III

When I first looked into your eyes.I see beautiful
features in you;Such as,your mind body and smile

I will treat you like a Queen and also buy you
flowers, candy, and sending you greeting cards too.
Because I know you are that special one.

When I listen to love songs that are smooth and
relaxing.I think about you in my dreams. In our
personal relationship we may have some problems
that we are going to go through.

That's why my love I will always think the world
of you.

One Heart
Poem by Rinna janesville wisconsin

One word from you
And everything seems changed,
And I, believing it to be true...
My lifes about to be rearranged...
Soft words that say you care
Caress the softness of my cheek,
The blowing tendrils of my hair
Softly frame the angel eyes you seek:
I try to smile and show no fear....
to stop the wild beatings of my heart,
But when you whisper words so dear
I long for days, we'll never be apart.

One hand I reach out, and hold before you,
A softly glowing light I hold;
"Becareful, for it can break in two",
I whisper softly, and feeling bold...
You unlace my fingers ever so slow...
And in my hand you see the glow.
gently with a smile you take it from me,
And place it where it longs to be
Right next to yours...our hearts entwine

Two hearts inscribed with trust and love,
May all who've felt it, smile as they see
That angels smile from up above,
As we become one, you and me.

May it's light and depth transcend you,
May it's truth and love long endure,
May our hearts no longer be just two,
But shine as one both innocent and pure

No longer shall there be small pieces of two
But brilliant shards so like the brightest sun
Sparkling bright and fresh like morning dew
As our small pieces of just two..Stop, and become
Just one.

You're the one....
Poem by Rola

The first time I saw you I loved you so much
You were the one who taught me to touch
You held me and loved me as if there's no tomorrow
You washed away all my hurt and sorrow
The mere glimpse of you makes me want you even more
You've opened up the door to my heart and touched the very core

Linda
Poem by Martin Mason

Like diamonds you sparkle W
Whatever the light
Your luminescent aura
Lights up my life
Your warmth and your beauty
To me is a dream
And you are worth every penny
Of love I can give
My life which was nothing
Being alone and so blue
Really started happening
When I met you
You are Magic and gorgeous
And adorable too
You're my sparkle of diamonds
When I look at you

Evening's Dance
Poem by Clay Smith

Sun sets

in gold and blues,

promising tomorrow

will come true.

Memories linger

of hours passed.

Crimson hues

our shadows cast.

Eyes of blue,

sun kissed skin.

Lips like wine

as night begins.

Sun bestows

its final wink.

Surf recedes in

shades of pink.

Mandolin cries

faint and low.

A warm embrace,

a song we know.

Rest your head,

holding tight.

Moving as one

by candle light.

Bodies sway

with gentle sighs.

Reflections play

in loving eyes.

Like petaled stem

from virgin seed.

A soft caress

like summer?s breeze.

Against the walls

and window panes,

our shadows play

like summer rain.

Evening passes,

music fades.

Candle dims,

moon invades.

Filling within

our hearts and minds,

like love one feels

or hopes to find.

Now an evening?s kiss

is on our lips.

An evening?s dance

to reminisce.

You whisper soft,

as you take my hand.

Was it all a dream

in the evening sand.

The promises made,

not in haste.

Sweet thoughts of you

like honeys taste.

Between the moon

And morning light,

You take me slowly,

holding tight

Simple pleasures

as if new.

Bodies one...

but born as two.

Like starlight wink,

high aloft.

Your warm whispers,

Low and soft.

It seems to say

without sound,

Feelings true

will abound.

Things we feel,

things we see

make these lover?s

hearts believe,

In things not heard

in things not seen,

in simple love

And simple dreams.
