Wedding Poems: Romance (4)

After Our Wedding Vows Are Said ...
Poem by Sheila L. Tanner

As we walk down the aisle after the words that bind us have been said, all will know that we have wed.

The pride and joy that is displayed in our eyes will be like a beacon that shines like the stars in the sky.

Little did we know that God?s plan was in the making and we?d receive a blessing far greater than we knew could be progressing.

He gave us each other and blessed us to be, the most perfect couple your eyes could conceive.

We vowed to love, cherish, honor and obey and with God?s blessing we now go our way.

We?ll share a life of love, filled with God?s blessings from above.

As we continue to pray that our love stay strong, we need each of you to pray along.

For God blesses when prayers are sent and we want our blessings to be of a Heaven decent!

'Til Death Do Us Part
Poem by Tia Kitchens Mississippi

We are together time and time again; we always laugh, we
always grin.
We're together practically day and night, because I love
it when you hold me tight.
I feel safe from the cold and the years of growing old.
I hope we're together forever and ever.
For richer and poorer, in sickness and in health, sharing
our hearts, together forever and ever . . .
Till death do us part!!

My Husband
Poem by Kelly Cararini Pennsylvania

There is someone special to me,
He is loving,caring,and kind.
He stood by me in good times, and bad.
A special someone like him is very hard to find.

He has been with me throughout the years.
When I needed him,he was there to wipe my tears.
He gives to me with all of his heart.
Now we are going through life with a brand new start.

Dreams Do Come True
Poem by Susan Protz

Once upon an ancient time
In a land by an azure sea
The kingdom had a princess
But her prince was yet to be

Her castle was a wonder of gold
A mountain's snowy peak it crowned
The princess searched many distant lands
Alas, still no prince was to be found

The princess sighed in sleep one night
And, in a watercolor dream
She saw a handsome strapping lad
By an emerald stream.

As she gazed into his eyes
The dream faded into gray
The princess awoke in ruby's dawn
Within her heart, his image did stay.

That night in the castle a ball was held
The princess danced all night
The gala was grand! Music and laughter reigned!
But, when the sky met morning's light....

The princess was asked to dance again!
His smile was like sun's beam!
She looked upon him in wonder --
It was the gent in the dream!

They were married in grand ceremony
They began a life that was new!
The kingdom at long last had a princess and prince
The princess' dream at long last came true!

Our Wedding Day
Poem by Kelly Cararini Pennsylvania

Family, and friends from near and far
will come on our special day.
To celebrate our new life together
as our hearts become one today.

Wedding bells will start to ring,
when to each other our vows are said.
Arm in arm we will go down the isle,
as our futures lay ahead.

Hand in hand, and side by side
we will walk through the paths of life.
When on this day we share our dreams,
and they pronounce us man,and wife.
