Wedding Poems: Love (12)

Vow Of Our Love
Poem by Bonnie Carnahan

I love you for who you are...
Not for what other people think
you should be.

Our marriage is built upon God's grace.
Never to be broken or torn apart by
anything or anyone.

The rings we share represent the love that
has grown between us throughout the years.

I vowed to always be there without an inkling
of trust or doubt.

In good time or hard times...
Know I'll always be here by your side.

You are you and I am I...
Together we can conquer anything.

Don't ever let your heart drift away
from mine.

I'll love you until the day I die.

Masked Emotions...
Poem by Bonnie Carnahan

Emotions raw and strong,
Seeming different with every passing
hour of twilight.

Longing for the loving friendship
once shared, but now is gone
like a flicker of light.

Heart aches from things said
and done...
Unable to fix or undo what
has been said or done.

The things shared between us...
Are now burned to ashes,
And withered away with just one
blink of an eye.

Saying I'm sorry won't fix
a thing...
Our friendship has broken after
trust between us was lost.

Always remembering
the happier days...
Sitting alone sadden and
wondering where had we
gone wrong.

If only you would have come to me first...
Things would have been different,
I could have explained all misunderstandings
instead of laying here alone missing you.

I'll always love you,
no matter what you do.
That is all I have left
to offer to you.

Loving Only You
Poem by Bonnie Carnahan

When I look into your loving eyes,
I see the ocean, and a gentle breeze comes
shining through.

The way you look at me...
The way you make me feel...
The special things you whisper to me.

You are everything I've ever dreamed
of; you are my dream come true.

With your arms wrapped around me,
feeling warm inside, your arms like
a blanket of love...
Something I could get addicted too
very easily.

Please don't tease me...
My heart couldn't take another
heartache...
I love you, I truly do.

I'm so glad I found this love of ours...
So happy and grateful that I found you.

Love me like no other...
I will be your love slave for
all eternity...
Treat me like it will be the last
time you will ever see me again.
And I will fall so deeply, madly
in love with you.

Love Cycle
Poem by Bonnie Carnahan

Love is sculptured through faith and trust...
Growing and building into a new time and place.

Back in time when love was none...
God made man and woman...
And the circle of life begun.

Love blossomed and then there were three.
Love of the innocent child...
Freedom of worries or doubt.

A gentle kiss...
Feels so sincere...
In loving you, I have no fears.

Don't say Good-bye....
Say, I'll see you in my dreams.

And then the cycle started all over again...
A new dawn began and love grew...
A circle of a new breed began.

But my love, has no beginning or end.
My love for you, just is.
