Wedding Poems: Love (23)

to be loved
Poem by Noah

a part of me has always wondered how it would feel....
to be loved
to be cherished
to be needed

as i look into your eyes
i see all that and more
fate brought us together
but it was our love that held us together

my life without you would not be complete
for you, my darling, are my soulmate
the reason for my existance
my everything
and i will forever hold you in my heart

Not so many words
Poem by Shannon Ardiles Carson City, NV

In not so many words,
you say what you want to say,
you are the answer to my prayers,
the one who makes my day.
You help me with my problems,
you pick me up when i'am down,
you are there always,
when no one else seem's to be around.
Your there through it all,
though it seem's to good to be true,
it's hard to ever believe,
that i actually found you.
Your laugh is contagious,
and your smile just the same,
you bring in the sunshine,
through the dark cloudy rain.
Your one of a king style,
help's make me see,
that in not so many words,
your saying that you love me.

For Steve
Poem by Scarlett May London

Soft, soft, soft caress
I feel your kiss upon my breath

Sweet, sweet, sweet visage
One smile from you will warm my heart

Strong, strong, strong embrace
Your arms around me make me safe

Stay, stay, stay with me
Together lies our destiny.

Love Covers All
Poem by Brenda Jaycox

Loving is sharing
And caring
And giving
Your heart in all that you do.

Loving is hoping
And coping
And spending
My very last penny on you.

Loving is healing-
Forgiving,
Forgetting-
The hurts of the present and past.

Loving is smiling
And laughing
And living
Each day as if it's your last.

Goodnight Kiss
Poem by Troy Bowden

I see you at night alone in your bed of dreams.
Nothing is there to warm your soul as the night winds blow.
Nothing not even my heart to take your fears away.
You roll and turn, your arm reaches for nothing and I fall.
I see you cry yourself to sleep in hope that I will come.
Come to clear your eyes of the pain and cold nights.
For I blow a kiss goodnight in the wind and may it carry far.
Far to your lips to shut your eyes and sleep goodnight.
My kiss comes with all the love I have.
My kiss comes from my heart.
And that night when you sleep, I'll be there to warm your heart.
