Wedding Poems: Love (4)

Sand
Poem by Rajat Mahapatra

our hands cant hold the hour
like i hold your hand
pure emotion presses me

where is innocence
where are your eyes?

black magic and silence

the sea pushes the breeze
with lust
the beach streches like time
across blank memory

stories and beds converge
claiming heat
and
burning like an embrace

the sand show us footsteps
when we walk in the air
the beach washes the sound
that we do not hear

Until I die
Poem by Joshua A. Harley

A fiery passion of love has arrived,
Without a home for it to abide.
So lo and behold I have come,
To give this tempest a place of her own.
Walls have crumbled,
Gates have fell,
To keep this soul from the gates of hell.
She has a will of her own,
That needs to die,
And submit to the Will,
Of the One on High.
Lord I pray don't leave her side,
That I may stay with her,
Until I die.

To Rian With Love
Poem by Andrianna Holt ky

I got down on my knees today
And prayed to God above
Asking him for just one thing
Your everlasting love.

I know in my heart theres no
One else who can compare to
This love i feel for you and
With you only i want to share.

So now you have my heart and
My soul and just how precious
You are to me i think only
God knows.

Please say you will marry me
And be mine forever for you
My darling i will always love
And treasure.

Butterfly
Poem by Anna Kirkpatrick Culver City

Love is like a butterfly wild and free
With many different beautiful colors
and like your stomach it's all a flutter
love is like a butterfly delicate and complicated
with intricate details that cannot be seen until you get close
love is like a butterfly very hard to catch
you are my butterfly

I Could Never
Poem by Lynn Stanley

If I could never see your eyes
Or touch your skin again
If the choice were mine to make
We never would have been
If I could never hear your breath
Or feel your beating heart
I would turn back the hands of time
We would have never made a start
If I could never watch you sleep
Or help fulfill your dreams
I could say "we" never happened
Nothing here is what it seems
If I could never make you laugh
Or see you smile once more
Our past would surely haunt my mind
Once rich but now is poor
If I could never obtain your love
And make you mine forever
Then all these things I would forget
You know that I could never
